Indian Human Rights Council is committed to educate, promote, protect, and assist and to intervene in the Human Rights issues anywhere in the world through Human Rights Defenders.
Mission: The timeless values rooted in the Indian culture viz. “every living being on this globe has a right to live life with dignity.” also enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights 1948 to be actively supported and propagated. The society also needs to vigorously defend these inalienable Human Rights for which IHRC is committed to support.
Objectives: Indian Human Rights Council undertakes all the activities to create awareness in the society about the human rights as enshrined in both the Indian Constitution as well as Universal Declaration of Human Rights 1948.
For this purpose, the Council shall undertake extensive programmes for disseminating the information as also wide publicity through social media as well as Press and Electronic Media. The Council shall also take up all the activities like sensitising the student’s thro’ quiz contests etc.
IHRC aims to establish a platform for the eradication of all forms of abuse of human rights without being limited to abuses in the form of social evils, anti-social elements, corruption, crime and terrorism and to work towards the orderly and sustainable growth of the system in the country for the protection of human rights.
IHRC also strives to actively intervene and help the victims of the human rights violation and provide them all kind of services including legal aid.
